Take a second look at your niche
Go back to your favorite keyword research program and begin to look a little more closely at your list. Add these factors to your keywords to see what kind of numbers can result.

Examine long tail keywords
One of the hidden gems you’ll be able to dig up once you append your keywords with the descriptions above will be long tail keywords. These three or more word phrases will begin to jump out at you as you play around with your old keyword phrases. Try adding “How to…” to your existing keywords as well as “How can I…” and see what results.
Check the forums for more inspiration
If there are people paying for your products, there are very likely to be forums dedicated to your product as well. Make your way over to them and look for great questions to add to your list of long tail keywords. The point of this exercise is to dig for hidden pockets of potential customers in areas you have not yet covered.
Expand this exercise
If you have five markets that you currently cover now, get moving and start building new keyword sets for your hidden gems. You might not only find new markets for building profitable lists, you might even develop new products from these keywords as well.
Take it to the next level
Go to websites that cater to these groups and advertise on them. Once you’ve determined that there is a possible market for these sub-niches, seek out the leading websites, magazines, blogs or ezines for these groups and start promoting like crazy. Set up very specific opt-in pages just for these target markets. Don’t make the mistake of lumping them all together in one list. You’ll want to separate them for future targeted products.
